Brief Description of Persona:
Akaisha stands at a height of 5'8" and weighs
in at a 150 lbs, with a slight figure, light brown eyes, and dark reddish-blond
hair. Has a long scar on her back from her early years as a Mercenary when
during training, when she was slashed from behind by another trainee.
Akaisha is a woman who is looking for something to protect and is searching for a reason to believe in. However, despite this, she had a solid belief in herself and follows her own ways and believes very _highly_ in honor. She won't do anything she views as dishonorable. She's strong willed, and she has to be to have survived and succeded as a woman Mercenary. However, her beliefs in honor due tend to make her a little naive, given she expects this from every person she meets and believes they'll do as she does and she has the scar on her back to prove what that naitivity has lead her to. She's learned to be careful, but her naive streak shows itself very clearly in less hostile situations.
Though not one to easily rise into a temper, she is fairly calm and laid back and if her wrath is ever invoked, its been something that has repeadly confronted her and caused her to lose her calm and laid back nature. Which when this rare occurance occurs, watch out, she knows how to use her wit and belt knife to express it.
Brief History of Persona:
Akaisha was born into the Mercenary craft, with her father being the leader of a Mercenary band and her mother being one of the few women who traveled with the band. It was evident at a early age that Akaisha had taken to her fathers craft, given the number of beaten up boys and girls who crossed her and her love to travel. As Akaisha grew older, both parently reluctantly agreed that their roughly twelve turn old daughter had already found her niche in life and was more than willing to pursue the life of a Mercenary.
Afterwards, they allowed their daughter to formally train and Akaisha proved to be among the best. She was not particularly physically powerful, but what she lacked in body, she made up for in spirit, sheer talent with the belt knife, and overall speed which earned her respect from those who otherwise wouldn't. Then disaster struck, Akaisha's naive nature during a training match between herself and another younger Mercenary. The young man convinced her that he was giving up and when she turned to leave the ring and accept his surrender, heslashed her back, nearly killing Akaisha and leaving her scarred from the back of her left shoulder to the right of her lower back. Her attacker was of course
expelled from the band and he later became a bandit. But the damage had already been done.
Afterwards, Akaisha learned to be considerably much more careful when belt knives are involved and isn't quite as naive as she used to be. After she healed, Akaisha took to traveling with her band once again on up till her twenty-third turn when her father, the leader of the band died and leadership of the band fell to a much less tolerent leader and Akaisha was forced to leave it all behind her...leaving her dazzed and without a home to protect or a cause to further believe in. Finally after a turns worth of wandering, she came upon the doorstep of the Dragon's Lair and deceided to see if possibly there could be something there to protect and possibly she herself be protected by truly coming home...
Brief Description of Pet:
Kai is a very large brown firelizard, with a rusty brown color to him thats certainly unique, and a fierce love and devotion to Akaisha. As far as firelizards go, Kai is very intellegent and helps Akaisha by scoping out their enviroment and sending back to her images of what he sees and of course, alerts her, even if shes away from any holds or weyrs, of when Threadfall is due. Akaisha came by him as means of a get-well present from her parents when she was injured. Still, he loves Akaisha but anyone who comes near his mistress had best watch themselves, upset her when he's around and he's most likely gonna attempt to rid her of the nusnance, by any means available to him, which has lead to some rather comical circumstances in the past and a warning warble from the Kai is enough to make anyone whose getting on Akaisha's nerves to stop what they are doing or face dire circumstances.
