Ildiko is of medium height and weight,
rather well-endowed for her height. She has lush red hair and green eyes,
but an unfortunate complexion which has a tendency to burn unless she has a
hat on. She has a smattering of freckles across her nose and cheeks, rarely
ever actually tanning. Her favorite times of the day, subsequently, are the
early morning and dusk. She is usually clad in well-worn clothing, with a
passion for brightly-coloured scarves and sashes she will keep tied around
her waist.
Ildiko is extremely empathetic to people,
and has a hard time being under stress. She is often found around children
and animals; because of this, she has unfortunately remained rather
childlike. Ildiko is easily angered, but easily calmed down. She can be very
moody and volatile, but always calms down and apologizes to people she may
have wronged... Well, most of the time.
Brief History of Persona:
Ildiko was born one-half of a set of twins, but
the only one to survive. Her other sib was alive at birth, but weighed about
3 pounds, and died within a sevenday. She was subsequently coddled and
spoilt absolutely rotten by her parents, though there was always a bit of
guilt that everyone in the family felt-what would it be like, had her twin
survived? Several years later, though her mother was cautioned not to bear
further children, Ildiko became the eldest of two, then three. She was eager to
be helpful, and was brought out at an early age to work
with the animals at the Hold. Her father, a beastherder, taught her how to
ride runners at about seven; she subsequently spent much time with the
runners. As Ildiko learned the faults of red hair, she began to feed and
tend the Hold beasts at dawn and dusk, rarely out in the height of the sun.
She has been raised as befits a proper Holdergirl, but has a yearning for
something more. She is uninterested in marriage as of now, but has the urge
to do something for her Hold. With the words of a clutch of wher-eggs at
Black Rock, thoughts have been ruffling in her mind, and she is thinking
about trying for an egg... But at the moment, she is working at the Dragon’s Lair, caring for the beasts the guests bring with them.
