Dalzel is a small boy barely five two inches tall. He has sandy brownhair that refuses to obey a comb or brush. He has so many cowlicks that he prefers to have his hair cut extremely short. It grows so fast that if he doesn't cut it every two weeks he starts getting little twists and curls sticking up every which way. The boy's eyes are bright green with gold flecks and show every emotion. His smile is infectious.
A normal happy boy, Dalzel gets along with everyone. He's a bit on the bookish side. He loves to read and daydream of being a dragonrider. His only sadness is that he knows he'll never be allowed to go to a Hatching because his parents are insistant on him following in their footprints. And until llately he's been able to hide his two worst weaknesses from his parents. His fear of needles...and his fear of ...blood. Poor Dalzel isn't brave enough to speak up to his parents about his issues of not wanting to go to Healer Hall. He loves his parents dearly, but he just doesn't have the backbone to say no to them.
Brief History of Persona:
Dalzel is the product of two highly intelligent and skilled Healers. One a surgeon, one an accupunturist. Never having been allowed to follow his parents around during their duties for safety purposes, Dalzel turned to liturature and harper classes to keep himself busy. As an only child of parents who believe that children should be treated as little adults, Dalzel was never really into playing normal children games, except for Dragonrider. This was his favorite game.
All Dalzel has ever wanted is to be a dragonrider. He's never mentioned it to his parents as they have had his future as a healer planned out for him since his birthingday. Now that he is of apprenticing age, he's been placed in the Healer Hall at Black Rock Hold as his parents want him to learn to be self sufficient and because the Healer Hall at Black Rock is the best on the Southern Continent. Now the young boy finds himself alone among other his physical age, but not of his level of intelligence. Not only is he trying to hide his fears from his parents now, but from the whole of HEaler Hall!!!
