Name: Amakura
Age: 22
Craft: Beastcrafter
Rank: Junior Journeywoman
Physical Desciption: Amakura is as exotic as her name. Long straight black hair hangs to waist when unbound. Almond shaped eyes are nearly as black. Her skin is a deep dusky golden tan. Her voice is deep and velvety. She stands at 5'9" tall and weighs in at 140lbs of muscle.
Emotional Description: Although somewhat of an introvert, Amakura has a bright and active mind. She is direct and forthright in her words when she does speak. Her moods are steady, never going to extremes. Only in her mind does her world have any excitement. If there is something to be read, or a song to be heard about heros on Pern, Amakura has read it or heard it. At least a hundred times.
Personal History: Born somewhere in the Reiver Islands, Amakura came to main Continent when she was twelve with her sailor father. She was apprenticed at the Beastcrafter Hall, much against her will. She wanted to sail the seas of Pern with her father. Her father insisted that his daughter get a respectable craft for a woman, so Amakura settled for her second love, runnerbeasts. Once she gained her Junior Journeyman's knots, Amakura started to Journey. It was the closest thing she could get to sailing the seas, travelling the continent by runnerback. Her current posting at Greenwood Minor Hold has set in motion Amakura's plans to make her dreams a reality.
Very few people other than Amakura know that her father is a famous Briggand. He sails the Seas of Pern as a normal Captain of a Ship. But once done his routes, he picks up one of his swift vessels and plunders the rich trading ships that ply the waters between the Northern and Southern Continents. Once the booty has been taken, he distributes some of it among the poor on the southern Continent. Many Pernese think he's a hero, more think he should be dead. To everyone he is known as Robin Hook.
Amakura now plans on being her own version of Robin Hook on land. She's already made several midnight raids on rich caravans of greedy Holders and Merchants. Luckily she's not been caught. Now that she's at the remote location of GreenWood, she feels that she can put her plan into full action. The only problem is....Amakura is not the best at making plans and looking to the future. All her daydreams have a happy ending, which she doesn't seem to realize don't always happen.
E-mail Cady if you'd like, I'm sure she'd love to hear from you!
