Nain stands at an even 6'2 in his socks and looks like a black smith. Musclar and fairly bulky he has wide shoulders, a solid chest and lean hips with long, muscular legs and arms. His stomach is still hard and flat, something he is proud of and which he attibutes to his lack of drinking. In terms of his look the first shock comes from his short pure black hair with premature, but attractive, wide silver-white streaks all through it. , a trait he inherited from his father and the second from his cloudy grey eyes and dark, dusky skin. His features are a little on the rough, ruggedly carved side but there's an attractiveness to him that some woman like with his unusual colouring. His face has quite a sharp, angular jaw line, his nose is hawk like and his cheek bones are high but look carved out of stone, as does his jawline, his lips are a little wider then is attractive but the lower lip is fuller then the top. His eyes are quite large and almond shaped, they are dominant in his face, tending along with their colour to stand out. All up he's quite a striking, strangely appealing man. Liking dark, servisible and casual clothing he's not a fancy man at all. Also for his craft he hands are scarred and callused yes, but they are lean with long fingers. They are deft, skilled and well used. It amuses him that ladies tend to like his hands.

Nain is a stable, practical and level-headed man. Sensible, honest and very reliable he's a good man in every sense of the word. But he's not a dour man he has a good sense of humour and easy, comfortable way with people, animals and small children. More quiet then he is loud or talkative he adds his bit and isn't afraid to give his opinion. A man who saw what happened to his mother he swore as a young lad to never touch alcohol of any sort and to this day he doesn't. He drinks klah or fruit juice. If he has a downside it's that he is perhaps not the smartest man on Pern and has quite a bad temper. IF given a good reason he won't hesitant to throw a punch or two.
Brief History of Persona:
Nain was born the as the oldest of two to a pillowcrafter at Dragon's Lair. She was the long term mistress of a local Master Vinter and both her children were his. Always fond of a drink his mother Nara quickly grew more and more fond of her the drink and became an alcoholic. She was at times abusive, harsh and cruel to her son and daughter and then loving, deeply apolgetic. Something of a mess she was a pitiful figure. When he was 10 his mother left with a man, possibly a trader and never came back, deserting her two children. Ever a responsible man Aenea, their father, despite being a confirmed bachelor, took them in to live with him and raised them. Giving them a much needed sense of stability and security Nain and his sister Nali thrived. At 13 turns he became an apprentice smith at Black Rock Hold. After several long discussions with his father in which he took his son around all the various craft halls to see which sparked his interest, this was the one. Nain quickly realised that he'd made the right choice for he enjoyed the practical, hard work that it involved, as well as the chemestry and artistic sides. Nain quickly developed a deft and skilled touch with metal and as a senior apprentice began to head in this direction. At 18 he walked the graduated to juniour journeyman and stayed to specialise as a metalsmith. HE quickly gained a reputation for his skilled and specaliased touch with metal. Throughout this time Nain remained close to his father and younger sister, an Apprentice Healer at the same hold. Nain always had been interested in the opposte sex and his hair turning from is natural black to pure white at only 15 gained even more interest for him. His looks before it were interesting, now they were striking.
At 21 he fell for his best friend and future wife Eerin. The pair had known each other for turns, as they'd gone through their apprenticeship together and had stayed at BRH as journeymen. They'd also been good friends. But the relationship was one of those slowly developing over time sort of deals. SOmehow the pair became lovers and married a turn later when she became pregnant. Eerin gave birth to their daughter Erinan and their family was complete. But sadly a turn later Eerin died after a serious miscarriage. Nain was devesated and for a long time was sunk into a deep depression. But a long visit from his sister, now a good, well respected mindhealer he recoverd some and was convinced to carry on for his daughter. To this day Nain has never recovered from his beloved wife's loss but he adores his daughter and the experience brought Nain and his sister even closer. Nali also gifted Nain with a small grey feline as a gift and as a companion. Despite himself Nain grew to love this fiesty feline. His daughter too. To his exasperation and his daughter's amusement the feline they thought was male turned into a female and is constantly throwing litters of kittens. Everybody around BRH quickly found themselves with a kitten or two. The last litter Nain found himself with one left over and this one they kept as Erinan claimed him. Now Nain has decided that he, his daugther and their felines need a change. SO he's taken up a post at Crystal Cresent Cove, a newly opened place that looked interesting. His father has also moved to Veridian Orchards in the last few turns.
Brief Description of Pet A:
Missy is a quite a large, sleek dark grey feline. SHe has light streaks of grey in a faint tiger pattern on her back and legs. In terms of personality she is a fiesty, affectionate feline. But she only allows Nain and his daughter to touch her. Anybody else will find themselves scratched or bitten. She is very successful at catching tunnelsnakes and exasperates poor Nain by having near constant litters of kittens. Sprat is a small grey tabby and is still a kitten. But he looks to grow to be quite a large feline, probably twice the size of his mother, and has his mother's sleekness. In terms of personality he is an energetic, affectionate and very social kitten. He loves attention and lots of cuddles. He is also considered to be the worst hunter ever for he misses everything he tries for.
