Brief Description of Persona:
Alysea is small and wiry. She looks petite but is stronger then she seems. She is 5'5 and 58 kgs.She has straight dark brown hair that falls from a part in the middle, to her chin. She has kept it short since she became a weyrling. She has blue-grey eyes and fair skin that burns in the sun.
She has an almost triangular face with a pointy chin, high cheekbones, a straight nose, small mouth, wide spaced eyes and straight eyebrows.
She also has quite small, elegent hands and she squints alot as she is slightly short sighted. She dresses neatly and conservatively in comfortable clothing. But she is always clean, well presented and tidy.
She is a solemn and thoughtful girl. She can be shy around people she does not know or in situations she is unfamiliar with. But once she relaxes and opens up her quick, agile mind and quirky sense of humour show themselves. She is a bit of a neat freak liking her life, her possessions, her living space and herself to be neat and tidy. She likes doing practical tasks and is the first to offer her help or
her hands to do a task. Due to her upbringing as a weyrbrat she knows a bit of everything and she likes to whistle along to a good tune and play her reed flute. Her biggest faults are that she lacks confidence especailly with the opposite sex, she is often blind to the fact that she is quite pretty, she does not like to take risks and is usually the last to say her piece or give her opinion. But she loves problem solving and has a soft, loyal heart. She loves a happy ending and her dragon companion helps her to be more outspoken and bold.
Brief History of Persona:
Alysea is the youngest child of three. Her parents Hellin and Balisen were lovers that only saw each other at Gathers and Festivals as Balisen was a Harper stationed at Harper Hall and Hellin was a Healer at Sandstone River Hall. However, they had three children between them, all about 5 turns apart. Didya and Riko the older two were fostered out at 5 turns back at Sandstone River Hall and Alysea was taken with Hellin when she was transferred to Coral Reef Weyr to replace a Healer who'd died from a fever. She was fostered out and became a weyrbrat there and spent her years doing tasks and picking up skills as all weyrbrats do. At 15 turns old she applied to be Apprenticed as a dragon healer and was accepted by the Head Healer and trailed for the next few turns.
At 18 turns, along with her best friend (another weyrbrat) Kyney she was Seached as a Candidate and successfully Impressed Green Kilsath. She has been a weyrling for the past turn and cannot wait to complete her training and adjudgement to being a dragon rider for Pern. Following her love of dragons and of her growing skill as a dragon healer that she had gained in her training before she Impressed Kilsath she hopes that she might be accepted back by her trainer and finish her training. It is one of her goals in life to be a dragon healer.
Brief Description of Pet:
Gabba is a warm dusky brown shade of firelizard with darker copper-bronze shading to his under belly and wings. He is a sweet tempered, slightly lazy and jolly soul who loves nothing more then to lie in the sun and to talk or gossip to anybody who will listen - hence his name.
Brief Description of Dragon:
Kilsath is a deep jade green with subtle bluish-green highlights to her wings and underbelly. Size wise she is small and slim being at the smaller end.. She may grow just a little bigger yet as she is still a young dragon, but probably not much bigger. She is in may ways the opposite of her human lifemate. Being very opinionated and confident. But she is sweet natured, honest and loves to be the centre of attention. She tends to boost up Alysea's confidence and encourges her to be more outspoken. But she also shares her lifemate's attention to neatness and
cleaniness.
