Is'lenn is an exotic looking young man. Just
reaching 5'7 and 155lbs, he is in fit shape as a dragonrider should be. His
hair just hits his shoulder and is straight and black. His skin is a warm shade
of yellow/gold darkened by tanning. His eyes are almond shaped and dark brown,
finishing off his very obvious asian ancestry.
Is'lenn has the heart of a poet, but the
courage of a bronze dragon. He is artistic and a deep thinker. His generous
nature is extended to all facets of his life. He makes friends easily but many
people find him...not exciting enough. His biggest problem is is romantic
streak. He falls in love quickly and it lasts an eternity. He will fight to
the death for those he loves.
Brief History of Persona:
Is'lenn is the only child to an artistic baker/cook at
DLW. She specialized in creating carvings from fruit, and decorations from
pastries for the weyr dining hall and for the many Gathers that were held in the
Southern Continent. She was also a fostermother who had much love to give.
Isaralenn was showered with love and allowed free reign to his artistic nature.
His interests led him into gemsmithing. Jewellery design in particular. When
home for the Crafthall for Turn's end one year, the 18 year old Isaralenn was
searched. Noone predicted that the quiet artistic boy would impress a
bronze...blue or green...maybe even a brown...but never a bronze!! But Is'lenn
did. His mother was happy and hoped her son would stay at DLW after weyrling
training but he was asked to transfer to Coral Reef Weyr which was in need of
bronzeriders. During one of his regular trips back to visit his mother, Is'lenn
fell in love at first sight with DLW's newly arrived Junior Goldrider, Hetami.
He hides his ever growing love her, but sends her mysterious poems and presents
signed "From your Secret Admirer".
Description of Dragon:
Grith is a large lumbering bronze. His coloring is
that of browned copper. One would think he's a brown until out in bright
sunlight where his bronze shines in his wing membranes, along his snout, ridges,
and belly. He is a laid back, happy, mellow bronze. A wonderful match for his
rider.
Description of Pet:
Tourmaline was named after the semi-precious stone who's color she resembles. She extremely intelligent for a green firelizard and is incredibly adept at deliving things. The only time her mind gets distracted is if there is something overly shiny that attracts her attention. She's sweettempered and affectionate to match the calm personality of her owner.
