Brief Description of Persona:
Kilana is tall and graceful, and
a
well-balanced 125 lbs for her 5'7" frame. A natural dancer, her body is toned and lithe. her most attractive features are her almost
violet eyes and her dark red hair. Also, she has a lovely deep alto voice. She loves to harmonize whatever her flit Ferin sings. Her
one problem, which she hates, are her ears. Born with one flattened to her head, it now sticks out at an odd angle, and she sees it as
her "herdbeast ear". Beware the person who brings it up!
Kilana is bold and not afraid to speak her mind. Once shy and fearful to talk, she now can stand
up to almost anyone but her mother. A rebel to the core, she loves to pull pranks and pick on some of the more popular people or on the
bullies. Once being picked on herself, she sees herself as the "under-people"'s defender, which gets her into bundles of trouble
Brief Description of History:
Leading a simple life before coming to the weyr, Kilana grew up with her mother, Klarince. Klarince is just
as strong headed as her daughter and is exactly like her. Put into the harper craft at a yound age for her talented voice, she excelled
and became a senior apprentice at fifeteen turns. But on her seventeenth birthday,she got into a rather strong spat with her mother. Kilana ran away from home to live with her aunt at Coral Reef as an apprentice harper. Her aunt's green immediately picked her for candidacy.
Description of Dragon:
Kaith is a lovely seagreen dragon. Although she is a medium-sized green, she is delicate and graceful. Like Kilana, she has a strong attitude and loves sarcasm. She is the craziness in Kilana's life, often knowing what Kilana doesn't even know herself. Even with her sarcasm, Kaith is very sensitive to what others are feeling and loves to befriend others.
Description of Pet: Miko is a lovely, wiry canine with beautiful spotted fur. Kilana jokes that he's "half-feline" because of
it. He loves to romp and play, and he's notorious for getting in riders' ways when they try to clean their dragons. He loves his mistress
and will do anything for her. Ferin is a wiley fellow. A perfect shade of dark, klah brown, he is just like Kilana, loving to pull pranks. During the time Kilana has lived at Coral Reef, her flit has gotten her set up, in trouble, or the laughing stock of the weyr more times than
Kilana wishes to remember. Found by Kilana's old boyfriend on the beach, the little flit immediatly attached to Kilana. He and Miko never
get along.
