O’llor stands about 5’11” tall, coming in
at a little under tall. His form shows signs of early height gain in turns
passed. All of his weight is stretched onto his thin form as if it didn’t
have time to settle before he grew again. More recently some weight has
settled on his stomach erasing the stick person thinness he once had. His
arms and legs still look out of proportion on him. But at the very least his
hands and feet don’t look like swollen balloons on the end of his limbs
anymore. O’llor has grown out of adolescence nicely, if a bit late.
O’llor tends to pick clothes not from fashion but from function.
His breeches are thicker than most and probably last longer too. His tunics
and vests are all heavily sewn with patches, mostly in the elbows of his
tunics and the edges of his vests. His thick socks and boots give his feet a
larger look.
O’llor has a big smile usually planted on his boyish face. By
his face he looks barely old enough to be drinking let alone a rider. He
hasn’t lost the baby fat in either cheek and because of this he has cute
dimples that show up when he smiles. His hazel eyes are more round than most
and more thickly surrounded by lashes. He keeps his light colored beard
trimmed in a little goatee on his chin. He keeps threatening to let it grow
out to a full beard but he hasn’t yet. His entire face is framed by chin
length light brown hair. He has no bangs for say, as he has let them grow to
the same length as the rest of his hair.
O’llor is the nice guy with a few too
many bad traits hounding him. He is indecisive for starters. He doesn’t like
to have to choose and will do anything to keep both (or many if he can swing
it) options open to him. He lies when there’s no other way out and gives
excuses when confronted with the truth. It’s not that he thinks it is
everyone’s fault but his own. He’s just trying not to end up giving himself
a huge guilt trip (of which he often fails). When not showing off his two
worse traits O’llor can be a nice guy. He makes friends pretty easily. His
natural charm lets him get away with bluntly complimenting women and easily
disarming men. He has a wonderful smile with cute dimples and uses them
against both sexes. Lovers are both his strong and weak point. He has a lot
of them and it would be okay if they knew about one another but he tends to
tell them all that they’re his only one. At any one time, at least five of
his lovers are pretty close to finding out about one another. In the end
O’llor always gets it but also gets out of it cause that’s just the way he
is.
Brief History of Persona:
O’llor was born Sollor, a son of a rider and his
weyrmate. He never knew either as they both agreed to mutually split ways
and send their son to be fostered with distant family. So Sollor ended up in
High Reaches Weyr’s Lower Caverns. He grew up there for some eighteen turns.
Then he was Searched for a double clutch. He stood for the first hatching
and walked away UnImpressed. The second clutch hardened and hatched and this
time O’llor got lucky, a large blue knocked him over and sat on his legs
(nearly crushing a few vital organs in the process). A moment later the blue
named himself Brenweth and Sollor became O’llor.
Two and a half Turns later the pair finally graduated from
Weyrlinghood. The extra half turn was because O’llor found the other
weyrlings irresistible. With Weyrlinghood behind him, he’s moved on South to
Coral Reef Weyr. New friends, new lovers and no one who knows about his bad
spots (he hopes), what could be better?
Description of Dragon:
Brenweth is a large blue with to much energy.
He’s spent most of his young life bouncing about asking every possible
question and practically annoying every older dragon he’s ever met. He’s
naïve, he’s happy and he doesn’t see anything much beyond that. When O’llor
is unhappy or in emotional distress, Brenweth tends to hide. He really
doesn’t understand his rider that well but given time maybe he’ll figure it
out. Brenweth looks like something that just crawled up out of the ocean.
His dark blue hide is tinged with green and brown. He has spots where he’s
more green than blue and other spots where he’s more brown than blue and
even more spots where he’s more white than blue. A few branching lines of
dark blue connect the spots. Brenweth is a large blue with a bit smaller
wings than other blues his size.
