Brief Description of Persona:
A tall, lanky youth, T'san stands at
6'1" and weighs in at 170 lbs. With lightly tanned skin and reddish
blond hair, two deep green eyes, and freckles that smear his face, he
still resembles a boy, rather than the young man he is trying to become.
Has a small scar on his right leg from a trade run and a fall that
resulted in the scare.
T'san, despite his appearance, is
rather grown up more on the inside than his body would suggest. The
oldest of three children, he developed a leaders stance to his younger
brother and sister, especially after the death of their father and the
insuing struggle of his mother and family to survive. He is a very brave
young man and is fiercely compassionate of others and easily anyone
confidante. Holds solid beliefs in doing what is right over what is easy
and believes in never trying to be who you obviously not and is often
heard saying "Its better to be hated for who you are then to be loved for
who you are not."
Brief History of Persona:
Tesan had a normal childhood on up till he
was ten turns when his father, a Mercenary named Telan, was killed during
a combat exercise for a upcoming job. Tesan and his family was
devestated. The end result would be five turn struggle with Nari and Tesan
leading the family from holdless, considering they had always traveled
with Telan's band and Nari could no longer bear the burden of traveling
with Telan's band without him, to becoming profitable traders traveling
through the Southern continent. It was the combination of Nari's
resolve to press on without Telan and Tesan's strength and compassion that
lead them through supported by Narien and Teson.
Just as the family had settled down and allowed other to lead their
caravans and bought a small comfterble hold in the west, a blue
dragonrider on search swept down upon the new hold and searched out Tesan and
Teson on Tesan's fifteenth turn and Teson on his thirteenth. Both agreed
to go, relucatantly, making certain that Nari and Naren would be able
to take care without them.
Tesan stood on the Hatching sands for the first time at sixteen and
walked away with bronze Sanicanth and Teson walked away with blue Keshanth
from the same hatching.
T'san never imagined in all of his turns that he would impress a
bronze, he would have been happy with a green and been all the prouder of his
lifemate. Both T'san and T'son keep a careful eye on their mother and
sister in the west and visit the hold often, bringing with them stories
of weyrlife.
Brief Description of Dragon:
Sanicanth is a rich toned bronze, with a
medium body build and slightly longer wings than his body length.
Perhaps it is a carry over from his younger days, but the sight of the
longer wings does make the young bronze look somewhat comical. He has
darker and lighter tones of bronze streaking his body length, giving him a
'lined' appearance.
On the emotional level, Sanicanth is a much a clown as his appearance
suggests. He loves T'san and will do his more amusing antics to make
his lifemate smile and to recieve of course...a good scratch behind the
eyes. But he is anxious to rise and fight thread and has his serious
side to match T'san. He understands the threat it posses to Pern and
vowes that with his rider, one day they will chase it from the skies,
forever. Or so he hopes, it is any dragonrider and dragon's dream to do
so. But he'll try anyway.
Brief Description of Pet:
Morian is a cheerful and playful blue firelizard. He
is a constant flirt and can often be seen about the weyr flirting with
the various green firelizards and the occasional gold. A rather large
blue, T'san often wonders as a hatchling did he overfeed the
firelizard, but the blue firelizards strength and long wings seem to deny the
fact. Morian was a gift given to T'san after a very succesful trade in
one of the larger Southern holds and was one of the three firelizards his
family has as a result. Morian is quite a mischevious partner for
Sanicanth and the two, firelizard and dragon, can often be seen scheming up
some new comical antic to perform for T'san and is a good companion for
both dragon and rider.
