Brief Description of Persona:
Vertoltia stand about 5'3" tall who
weigh in at 130 pounds. She is rather slim, but athletic build. Her
eyes are set close together and are a green-brown color. Her facial
features give the appearance of an innocent child. Her Nose is small and
resembles a button. Her mouth is small, but
has full lips that are always a crimson red in color. She looks younger
than her age. Vertoltia's hair is jet black and worn down to her
shoulders. She has a bit of a limp from one of her legs being a bit longer
than the other one (caused from a problem at birth). This in no way
hinders Vertoltia. She can still run, jump and walk normally just like
everyone else. Vertoltia is about normal for a seventeen turn old girl
besides this one small physical problem.
Vertoltia's body build is what one would call small. If one was to
look at her they would think that if a strong enough wind came along she
would be blown away. She has a wide chest and big hips which lead down
to her legs. Her legs are long, and also have the appearance of being quite strong.
Her
overall appearance would be that of a body built for running long
distances or for dancing. Her hands are also on the small side. Her
fingers are long and slender Vertoltia is very dexterous.
Vertoltia is a very kind and caring
person considering everything she has been through in her life. She
has a deep love of animals, all animals. She has a low self-esteem,
because she feels that as a child she was abandoned. Even though she has a low self esteem, she is very good natured. She
has a mischievous side that she keeps in check. However, she has never
felt as part of the group or that she's really surpassed childhood.
However, she is also considered shy by most people because she would
rather stay away from politics and fancies being with her animals over
being with people. Vertoltia is a very talkative and prevailing person.
Vertoltia has a very matter-of-fact outlook. She is usually solemn, and
when she does smile it's usually with her hand over her mouth almost as
if she knows something that you don't. She is obsessive and a hard
worker, being accustomed to it, and prides herself on getting the job done.
She has a particular compassion for the underdog, and has found that
people often come to her for help or comfort
Brief History of Persona:
Vertoltia was born to the head cook at High
Reaches hold. When Vertoltia was sixteen turns old she was searched to
go to High Reaches Weyr. That was where she meets a bronze rider by the name of Val'rik and his
bronze Koymth. She told him who her aunt was and he was able to take
her with him when he left High Reaches Weyr. The two stopped by the
main hold and picked up Harine. From there the three of them with other
riders headeddown to the Southern Continent and ended up in Coral Reef Weyr.
Vertoltia is currently helping out in the lower caverns with her Aunt.
She wishes to continue her search for a life mate. She hopes that at
Dawning Light she might find her life mate. She dreams of riding the
skies on the back of a golden dragon. And now that she is at Dawning
Light there is a
good chance that she might get her dream come true.
Brief Description of Dragon:
Cvith is going to grow up to be a very small green. She will be about 20 feet tall when she is fully grown. Though she will be small for a green she will have no problems carrying Vertoltia through the skies. Cvith is a dark spring green color. She has strips of a deep viridian green originating from her back ridges down along her ribs. She also has lighter viridian green spots down her legs. Her under belly is a light jade green. Some may say she looks odd, but then others will say that she has the markings of a white striped feline. Cvith is a rather lean dragon which will add to her speed, it will give her the appearance of being aerodynamic. Cvith is going to be able to perform aerial stunts that others would only think, and bawk at. She will be both fast and daring.
Cvith is rather regal. She idolizes her mother Tezinath, and believes that she is a gold. She also demands that she be treated as such by the males. She has a tendency to curl her head down which will cause the impression of a high arching neck. Her chin will be straight against her chest. Cvith has a alto mind voice that gives one the impression of fresh crisp apples being cut for a pie. Even though all of Cvith's attitude there is a sweet and tender green dragon. She will show this side of herself only to a handful of people and dragons. Cvith loves to demand things of others, and quite possibly will be a good leader when she and her rider graduate from Weyrlinghood. Because of her attitude she would make a terrible search dragon. If she tried to search a candidate it is quite possible that the candidate would be very much afraid of her.
Brief Description of Pet:
Timid is a very small brown flit. Most blues are
larger than he is. Timid is a very light cream brown. He is super fast
for a brown. Timid is exactly that timid. He is afraid of everything,
and almost any thing except for Vertoltia. He tends to stay very close
to her, and never more than
twenty feet or so away from her. He is just so scared of every thing.
He would be afraid of his own shadow if he didn't know that it belonged
to him.
