Xy'rain stands approximately 5'10" tall. He weighs in at approximately 190 pounds. He has a dark brown almost black hair. His eyes are dark brown with green highlights to them, and they are rather almond shaped. He has a deep bronze coloring to his skin it is from having a darker skinned ancestor. Xy'rain keeps his hair cut short, and it is usually always short enough that it wont fall into his eyes. He has two scar's on his body, one is on his right rear shoulder blade and the other is across his left thigh. Both were from Thread scorings
Xy'rain tends to be ruled by his emotions, and usually relies on Carenxyth to help him remain focused and stable. He is very passionate about his work, and he tends to push himself too hard at times. He is the kind of man who when he finds someone special he will fall head over heels for her, and will not even think about any other woman. If Carenxyth catches a green while his rider is involved with someone he will do his duty, but will leave as soon as he thinks it is appropriate to do so.
Brief History of Persona:
Xy'rain was born to a brown rider father and a healer mother. His father encouraged Xy'rain to be around his brown as much as possible hoping that the boy would have a better shot at impressing when he got old enough. Xy'rains mother was a master healer and she wanted him to learn about healing, so when he was a few turns old she started to show him things about healing. When Xy'rain turned twelve turns old he apprenticed to a senior journey woman dragon healer which pleased both his mother and his father. He became a Junior Journeyman dragon healer at the age of eighteen turns old. By this time Xy'rain had almost lost all hopes of impressing. He had stood for every hatching since he had turned fifteen. At a hatching shortly before he turned twenty turns old Xy'rain was standing he had decided that this particular hatching would be the last one he would stand for when a large brown dragonet came up to him and called his name. Carenxyth impressed to Xy'rain and the two graduated weyrling hood at Telgar Weyr and worked as dragon healers there. Carenxyth was good as a dragon healers dragon, and when one of the gold's was injured the combination of Xy'rain and Carenxyth were able to help the young gold. The only problem is that Xy'rain had fallen in love with the gold rider. She however didn't feel the same and used him. As the gold rose to mate for the first time she chose a bronze and Xy'rain thought that something was odd since it seemed like Carenxyth was closer to her gold. The following day the gold rider told Xy'rain that she wasn't in love with him and that she was moving out of his weyr. After the young gold rider broke his heart he started to move around from Weyr to Weyr looking for some where he could start over again. He had heard of Coral Reef Weyr and had heard that some of the Southern Weyr's could use some riders so the brown rider got his transfer papers and headed to the Southern Weyr in hopes of starting over again.
Description of Dragon:
Carenxyth is an average sized brown. He is the color of dried wood. He does have some darker marks on him. His darker marks are a light chocolate color and give the appearance of wood grain. Carenxyth has a thread scoring down his front left shoulder. It is from a thread accident that he and his rider were in shortly after they graduated from weyrling hood. Past his coloring Carenxyth is rather plain and ordinary for a brown in appearance wise. Carenxyth is almost an exact copy of his rider where his personality is concerned. He is rather strong and fatherly. He however is a bit more outgoing than his rider. He will happily jump into a conversation and will happily step in and take control of a situation where his rider won't willingly do that. Carenxyth does seem to have a problem in learning when to control the volume of his mind voice. He loves to get a bit hyper and tends to get loud it reminds Xy'rain of a young child when he gets hyper and tends to raise his voice. He doesn't' always shout, but he does at times shout.
Description of Pet: Precious is a deep milky gold color. Her wings look like they are made of the gold metal. They are the orangey gold of the metal that the smiths use for jewelry. Her legs are long and lean, and her body is rather lean too. Her tail seems to be a bit too long, but she tends to use it to help keep her balance when sitting on her pets' shoulder.
Precious is rather queenly in that she feels like she should be pampered and as such will demand nothing but the best from her pet and his dragon. She will always' eat with Carenxyth and will demand that he allow her to eat first which the brown will happily allow since he too cherishes the small gold flit. Precious isn't that flighty in the way most flits are. She tends to ignore things that most would /between/ over. She will rarely leave her pets shoulder unless it is to feed with her brown dragon or to demand that the other flits do as she wants. She will gladly take notes to her pets' friends or mate if he wants her to, but she will refuse to go deliver a note to anyone else that she doesn't' know.She has a rather soft spot for brown flits and brown dragon's. She will happily curl up to a bronze, but she loves the steadiness of the brown's. She thinks that the bronzes are a bit too arrogant and doesn't like the competition from them.
