Amaera is tiny barely making 5'0 and she has the kind of curvy, volumptious body that some women dream of. Having borne two children and a fondness for bubbly pies has added a layer of padding that tend to make her a bit more curvy. But it gives her a kind of matronly, motherly look but somehow she manages to look sexy at the same time. With features that are more cute and pretty then beautiful, her face is round with a small nose, full lips and high cheekbones. Her eyes are blue-grey and quite wide spaced, she tends to squint a bit as she's a bit short sighted. Her skin is fair and she has light dusting of freckles on her face and arms. Her hair is a nice shinny light brown and is cut short and in such a way that it frames her face and neck. Amaera likes feminine but comfortable styled clothing. SHe tends to like shades of green, blue and grey.
Amaera is a warm hearted, generous sort of person with a hearty laugh and a hug for everybody. With a lively sense of humour and compassionate, patient nature she's a great mother, friend and healer to everybody. Always one to take time to listen and talk she's also pretty good company. If she has a downside its her distrust and dislike for men. Oh she loves them enough to bed them and indulge in brief relationships but she's terribly commitment phobic and is one of these females that tends to rubbish men. She also tends to take it as a personal failure when she fails at something or looses a patient.
Brief Description of History:
Amaera was the result of a brief pairing between a bronzerider and the Assistant Headwoman of Dawning Light Weyr. Brought up by her mother, also bringing up several foster children and two more children of her own meant she was a busy woman. But she always had time for all of her children. This is something Amaera inherited from her mother. At the age of 13 Amaera decided to apprentice to the Healer craft at the weyr not wanting to leave her home but she also wasn't the dreamy sort that thought only of Impressing a dragon. She stood for Impression twice and failed both times, realising after the 2nd try that a dragon wasn't for her. So she stuck to her craft and trained hard. Eventually at 18 turns she graduated to juniour journeywoman and that's when her problems with men started. She got into a relationship with a brownrider that got to clingy and possessive and she was out of there. The relationship did give her Mae her daughter whom she loved to death and fostered out to her half-sister Caida. But she saw her daughter whenever she could, the pair are close as a result. Life progressed for Amaera in a pretty predictible fashion but Amaera liked her life. She had her healing craft on the one had, her many friends and family and the brief relationships she induldged in on the side. She also had a son from another of her relationships along the way. However another recent relationship with a fellow Journeyman Healer has recently gotten to clingy and she's decided she wants to break out of the nest and meet a new challenge. She's decided to transfer to the newly opened Weyrhold. Her daughter, also a Healer coming with her.
Description of Pet:
Lady is a tiny delicate green flit with a pretty deep green hide with blue understones to it. Her temperment is haunghty, fussy and bossy, much like a miniture gold in many ways. But she's also very flirty with male flits, dragons and even human males. Something that amuses Amaera no end!
