Brief Description of Persona:
Kalani is definately a metalsmith. Standing
6'4", he weighs 170 lbs., almost none of which is fat. He has dark brown hair
that falls just past his ears, and light grey-green eyes. He has a slightly
slouched posture from working in the smithery.
Kalani is the quiet observant type, never
speaking more than he has to. He is reserved, and doesn't trust easily. But once
his trust is earned, he is a friend that none would every miss. He doesn't laugh
often, preferring to smile. But there are rare occasions that someone has made
him laugh, which usually have to do with his sisters. He hasn't thought of
settling down, and at his age, he shouldn't be. His two goals in life are to
finish his apprenticeship, and maybe someday become a Master Smith.
Brief History of Persona:
Kalani has lived in Black Rock hold his entire life.
His mother Laelia, a weaver of some renoun, died during the child-birth of
Kalani's sister, Faye. She left her husband, Kasani, and three children behind:
Maia, Kalani, and Faye. Kalani's father was well on his way to becoming a Master
Smith when he suffered a crippling hand injury. He now helps teach at the
smithery, though his crippled hand keep shim from demonstrating techniques.
Kalani received his father's gift at smithing, and has been since he was old
enough to become an apprentice.
Brief Description of Pet:
Nasai balances out Kalani's quiet nature. She always has an
ironic comment to point out, and keeps his life interesting. Slightly smaller
than most flits, she enjoys being perched on Kalani's shoulder and sleeping on
his windowsil. Her skin is the exact color of Kalani's eyes, grey and green,
which is one of the reasons Kalani wanted her.
