Kihlah is a very beautiful young woman. Yes, there are some that find her very attractive but for the most part, men find her enchanting. She stands only 5' 4", but she is a ball of energy and possesses a fiery personality. Kihlah's hair is short though wavy it is a bright blonde in color sometimes if the sun hits it just right it looks like a deep golden yellow it could match a queen's hide. She prefers braids to layers. Her eyes are a deep brown, almost black in color. Kihlah's eyes are round with an air of charm and mystery. Kihlah's skin is a dark golden bronze that makes people think that she has a permanent tan; it is the perfect bronze color. She has several freckles across the bridge of her nose. Kihlah's nose is big but not what could be considered large. She has very high and prominent cheek bones almost like they were crafted to be perfect. Kihlah's body build is what one would call petite. Her frame borders on the very athletic side though she is not lacking in cleavage, she has a pair of legs to die for and nice hips. Her hips are quite full and round. She has a scar that runs from her midriff on her lower left side all the way to her knee. She obtained this scar in an accident while helping with the cooking when she was younger. Her smile is affectionate and gracious, but for the most part, she has a look on her face as if she is always thinking about the life she could have had. For all her size, Kihlah gives the appearance of languid beauty when she moves. Even so her movements are swift, exact and flowing. She has always been that way. She, unlike the majority of her peers, never went through the gawky bumbling period of adolescence. Her voice is quiet and soft, but unlike her sister, Kihlah can't sing to save her life. She uses her looks to express her personality and individuality.
Kihlah is a very down to earth person. She'd much rather take a walk along the local beach or explore some nearby woods than attend the upcoming Gather. Though she knows that with her position she knows that she is required to attend Gathers especially to make sure that her helpers and the other cooks and bakers are doing their share of the work. Being a head cook has taught Kihlah that she has to take responsibility for what others might do, and she has also put the word "delegate" into her vocabulary and it is her favorite word. She mostly keeps to herself. She has a small circle of close friends that she keeps and tends to have trouble meeting and making new friends, being shy. She hates confrontation or fighting and will avoid it, though she won't mind running her mouth or trash talking her opponent, or even now she has learned that she can pull rank on certain others and that is more than enough to quite any opposition. However, being a more logical person, she'd much rather think out a plan to rid herself of the pest and get her vengeance than fight. . So any hot shot riders or crafters come around and try to tell her how to run her kitchens she will not hesitate to go off on them. She's very smart, picking up difficult concepts quickly, and for this reason, gets annoyed with stupid people quickly. She's not really into the dating scene. It takes her quite a while to let down her shields and most potential mates become frustrated with her before a relationship ever really develops. It is for this reason, among others, that she has had few real relationships. She used to be too shy to flirt and had a difficult time courting males though since meeting and falling in love with Fi'ssen Kihlah has had little or no problems with meeting and flirting with men especially if they are cute. Kihlah was devoted to Fi'ssen in every way. She would only be in another man's bed if she was left with no other choice. Her soft voice often makes it difficult for her to carry out and execute orders, but she has in the last nine turns she has learned to raise her voice when need be to command attention. So, as a leader, she's good at thinking up plans, but has a hard time executing them for she really hates to raise her voice unless she needs to. Her work ethic is pretty strict and she demands the best from herself. When things get hard she will usually give up on her plans, however since arriving at Hidden Falls Weyrhold she has learned that the best things in life are those to which you have to work hard towards. She's a bit uptight but when she does unwind, she has a great sense of humor and a friendly personality. She usually carries a sarcastic tone, but for the most part, it's meant to be a joke (that most people miss). She does really like being the center of attention and would much rather prefer to be a leader a more than a follower.
Brief History of Persona:
Kihlah was born the oldest of eight children. She is used to being the center of her parents' attention. She was spoiled as a child. Raised in a very poor Hold, she grew to appreciate her natural surroundings and find joy in the simple things in life. It really doesn't take much to keep her content. Having five sisters, she grew accustomed to cooking and raising her younger sisters. When she was 7 turns old there was an accident at her cot hold where she was burned. Most of the burn healed but the accident left her with a scar which starts about mid way down her lower left side of her midriff. The scar continues down to her knee, it is a very pale pink and is slowly fading with time. Kihlah has worked hard all her life, she had to help out her mother all of the time when she was a child. So because of this she never really had a chance to be a child or enjoy too much of anything. She grew to love children, and her parents had the idea that she would be hand fasted to a handsome holder. That was until she and her sister Tihlah were searched while at their craft hall. The two sisters were searched to stand for a clutch but due to problems at home their mother, became very sick, Tihlah and Kihlah were not able to arrive at the Weyr until after the hatching. Kihlah remained at the Weyr for nine turns growing in her craft she only stood for the one hatching and after it had happened she realized that she wouldn't be a good dragon rider. The Weyr leaders allowed her to stay. Later Fi'ssen left Kihlah's life when his bronze Yexath flew gold in her mating flight. This devastated Kihlah and she again built strong walls around her heart. When she was brought to the Weyr alongside her sister, Tihlah, it was quite a surprise, but as the two were very close, no one minded her much. Kihlah reveled in their new found affection; she looked forward to creating a new life with her sister Tihlah here at Hidden Falls Weyrhold. Always close to her family, she remained modest.
