Dragon Color: Green Dragon Name: Jahunth Brief Description of Persona:
Of an average height, Elyzah is still somewhat gawky. All legs and arms with boney elbows and knees. Her wirey red hair is kept back in a tight bun or runnertail. Her front teeth are somewhat large and sometimes can be seen protruding out over bottom lip somewhat. It makes for a friendly, nonthreatening look for the girl. Her face and body are liberally dosed with cinnamon colored freckles. She has the dreaded family astigmatisms and wears heavy lensed spectacles. Just like her Uncle Pergan, the weyr Mind Healer.
When she talks, Elyzah always sounds to have a bit of a cold. Even though she is healthy, her allergies giver that always plugged up sound. She will grow into her limbs eventually and hopefully grow out of the allergies. Until then, she will maintain the family avian like traits.
Overly intelligent, overly shy, Elyzah prefers to read books, scrolls, and study people. Her mind is constantly working at trying to find out what makes people tick. Apprenticing to the Mindhealer craft suited her perfectly since it appealed to her analytical mind and her voracious appetite for learning. She is a quiet but polite girl. But she has a very dry sense of humor that very few people get. So, in turn, Elyzah remains quiet among her peers. Around adults though, she is a sparkling conversationalist as long as it is on a topic upon which she can speak. She finds it hard to make friends her own age.
Brief History of Persona:
Born to a family of near-sighted Mindhealers, Elyzah was surrounded by intelligent adults. Her childhood was filled with books and scrolls and debates on the human psyche. Instead of being a normal little holdbrat, Elyzah could be found administring to her toys's mental health, or lecturing the other hallbrats on the benefits of eating properly and exercising the mind by reading more. It made perfect sense when she apprenticed to the Healer Hall for Mindhealing.
When her Uncle Pergan, Mindhealer at DLW, came to visit her, the blue dragon that he arrived on Searched Elyzah. It was a bit of a shock to the whole family. However, since Elyzah would be standing at DLW, where her Uncle lived, her parents felt more than comfortable with the decision. ON her first standin, Elyzah Impressed Green Jahunth.
Brief Description of Dragon:
Jahunth is a dark mossy green. Her hide almost looks like a rich velvet. She is a match for her rider in that she's quiet, analytical, and concerned for the wellbeing of others. However, Jahunth has a tendency to put her muzzle where it shouldn't be sometimes. The pair are well grounded and are an asset to the Weyr.
