Dragon Color: Blue Dragon Name: Cardonth Dragon Age: 1
Craft: Gemsmith Craft Rank: Jr. Journeyman
Brief Description of Persona:
Gelir is not the most attractive man. He's on the short end of short, 5'4 and he's not going to grow anymore. He's stocky and muscular from his years as an apprentice smith and back on the home cothold. He has black hair....everywhere...on his head, his chest, even a bit on his knuckles. For a Pernese, he's a pretty hairy guy. He has deepset, blue eyes underneath a heavey pair of black eyebrows. His nose is shaped like a small potato. His body is built like a barrel with a pair of somewhat long arms and sturdy legs.
G'lir comes across as gruff, surly, unsociable. And he can be. Growing up an odd looking child in a family of tall handsome people, G'lir took the brunt of all short jokes, all ugly ducklying jokes. He prefers his own company, unless a person chooses to actually pursue a quest to find the real G'lir. Deep inside this dwarfish exterior, beats the heart of an artist. G'lir loves beauty. And the shinier the better. He is obsessed with shiny objects. Once he apprenticed in the smithcraft, he found his obessions with shiny objects satisfied in the gemsmith specialty.
Brief History of Persona:
Gelir was born the last of 5 children. Everyone in his family, except for himself, are tall and attractive. His mother says he is the carbon image of his great-grandda on her mother's side. This did not help make life any easier for the short boy. Finding that he would never escape the image his older brothers and sisters imposed upon him, Gelir asked if he could apprentice to the smith craft. Once there he excelled at his craft and went into gemsmithing. His jewellery was fast becoming a hot item in the South until he got searched one day. Everyone was quite shocked that the little green dragon picked Gelir out of all the more attractive people at the Hall. Gelir himself was surprised.
Brief Description of Dragon:
Cardonth is an amazing shade of sapphire blue. This pleases G'lir to no end due to his fascination and obsession with precious gems. Cardonth himself thinks he is pretty special, but not in a conceited way. He loves his rider and constantly tries to boost G'lir's selfesteem. This was a match made in Pern Heaven.
