Brief Description of Persona:
K'ap is of average height at 5'7" and his
weight suits his build. He is strong but isn't busting out all over with
muscles. No, K'ap's strength is more subtle with chiseled outlines and
such. His face is the friendly neighborhood boy face. He has blue eyes with
flecks of gold in them and hair that could be either blonde or light brown
depending on how much time he spends outside. He keeps his hair a sort of
shaggy medium length and his hair is straight. His complexion is smooth and
is easily tanned. K'ap's right handed and has a great smile and laugh.
K'ap is a cheerful, optimistic man,
always ready for most anything. He can bounce back from pretty much whatever
life throws at him, but his patience has definite limits. This isn't to say
he's always happy all the time, he isn't. Like any other human, he has his
depression at points but with so much in his life going well at the moment,
he can never stay so for long. Generally K'ap's slow to anger, but has a
soft spot for his children. K'ap prefers to keep his love partners casual,
but he is secretly a romantic, and dreams of finding a woman who he can love
enough to never need anyone else.
Brief History of Persona:
Klaip was originally born in the Weyr. His
parents loved each other and their new baby boy. He was babysat in the day
by a different drudge everyday. He almost never saw his parents. This is how
things went until Klaip was three years old when he was completely forgotten
by his parents and became a weyrbrat. He was an orphan until he met his
future master and father, Julkit. He adopted Klaip and took him back to
Black Rock Hold with him. He didn't mind having an apprentice or a son
figure in his life, after all he had no one else and was tired of being
lonely.
Klaip and Julkit got along just fine and Julkit was making great progress
with him as a jeweler. Klaip had found his new love but, like other boys, he
wished deeply for a dragon. This was the only thing he never told Julkit for
he knew if he told him his wish to not become a Master Jeweler like himself
but instead a dragonrider, it would break the old man's heart.
His wish came true at age 16 when he was searched and brought back to
Dawning Light Weyr. This, as expected, troubled Julkit for he thought he'd
never see the boy again but he respected Klaip's wishes and let him go, with
the promise of him coming to the Hatching. Klaip was taken to the Weyr to
await the hatching of the next clutch where he Impressed Brown Darianth.
Brief Description Of Dragon:
Darianth is an averagely sized brown with oversized head knobs and claws. His huge head might be to compensate for the fact that he has the biggest eyes on a dragon K'laip has ever seen. His coloring is dark chocolate brown with some swirls of a sort of grayish brown mixed in. He has an odd looking hidemark on his right shoulder that resembles a ball of flame.
As he showed everyone at his Hatching, this brown is the showmaker and always tries to be the coolest dragon around. Darianth is a loyal companion to K'laip and enoys watching Frok and Wolk in hopes that he might pick up some hip pointers from them. Darianth enjoys the company of others, though he hasn't quite figured out runners yet.
Brief Description Of Pets:
Frok- A kind of burgundy brown flit with the oddest habit
of watching bugs fly around and trying to copy their antic. Loves dolphins
and is always willing to help scrub them or dragons. Like his owner, Frok
too has a love of children.
Wolk- A strongly possessive pet, Wolk is (for the most part) a very good
judge of character. Sadly, he’s not a very good judge of many other things,
and is otherwise your typical, carefree dog. He resembles a Terran mixed
breed of some kind of sheperd dog and a Weimaraner.
