Dragon Color: Brown
Dragon Name: Seyth
Dragon Age: 1

Pet Kind: Bronze Firelizard
Pet Name: Wrath

Craft: Metalsmith
Craft Rank: Jr. Journeyman

Brief Description of Persona:
  • M'raye stands 6' 3", his long arms and legs making him appear lighter than his 200#. His straight, light brown hair seems always ungroomed, the fine strands constantly being disturbed by the slightest breeze. Soft brown eyes and high cheekbones contrast a mouth which can grin broadly one moment then frown in concentration the next--except at the table, where no platter of food or skin of wine within reach of his long arm is safe. His hands are large but his feet are a Tanner's nightmare.

  • Stubborn to a fault, M'raye is never satisfied with his efforts, never accepts failure. To him, failure is something to study carefully in preparation for subsequent, and successful, effort. Even success isn't good enough and he constantly seeks ways of improvement, often feeling frustrated with others who seem satisfied to let well enough alone. He is a leader with a take charge attitude which hides the hint of shyness within.

    Brief History of Persona:
  • Farmcraft bread, Murraye showed early skill with not only the sundry plants but also the few beasts around the Hold. Then at a Gather a Harper heard him singing and the next thing he knew he was apprenticed at Harpercraft Hall. A strong second tenor as a youth, he became a powerful second bass after his voice changed. But alas he proved to be totally incompotent with instruments, able to make or repair them but frightening wherries when attempting to play. A Smith visiting the Hall observed young Murraye making repairs, suggested the obvious solution, and Murraye found himself apprenticed to Smithcraft Hall. There he prospered, learning and progressing rapidly, walking the tables in almost record time. Upon receiving his Journeyman's knot Murraye was posted to Black ROck Hold, arriving after an uneventful voyage with a few more marks in his pouch than when he started, the others on the ship not having the same head for numbers in games of chance. Now Murraye stands ready to progress in his Craft, determined to some day become a Master. In his 19th Turn, Murraye became M'raye when he was searched and later Impressed Brown Seyth at Dawning Light Weyr.

    Brief Description of Dragon:
  • Seyth is huge. Even as a hatchling it was obvious he was large for a brown, as large if not larger than some bronzes. Unfortunately for M'raye, Seyth's appetite is appropriate for his size. In other words, food enough to satisfy any other dragonet is only enough to whet Seyth's hunger. In this respect the dragon and rider are kindred spirits, except if anything Seyth outclasses M'raye. The human who terrorized kitchen staff is now terrorized by his dragon.

Physically, Seyth is the classic dragon, every aspect of his body in proper porportion. Long, broad wings to eventually raise a heavily muscled body, massive rear legs, long and strong fore legs, tail gently tapering to its fork, ridges along his neck and down his back thick, heavy, evenly spaced. In color he is uniformly a very dark brown, the same rich hue from snout to tail fork.

But the huge brown is also very sensitive. More than most he is concerned with the feelings of others, dragons and humans. He knows his place in life is to destroy Thread, but he also wants to see happiness. If he'd been born human instead of hatched a dragon he'd have been a Mindhealer. And so, in his draconic logic, if he is not flaming Thread he should be 'flaming' sadness.

Seyth loves his lifemate, without reservation, but he considers M'raye a work in progress. His rider doesn't seem to be able to see the feelings of others. M'raye is kind, considerate, gentle, caring, intelligent, skilled.......but dense! Therefore Seyth will care for his rider, help him grow. After all, M'raye will feed him, oil him, care for him, so how can he not reciprocate? It will require constant effort, but love makes it worthwhile, right?

    Brief Description of Pet:

  • Size: Small
Appearance: Short little legs, with a thoughtful expression
Color: A dark bronze - very dark
Personality: Puts his high intelligence to good use - a devilish imp
Quirk: Like his mother, loves music - especially pipes
Additionally, Wrath, despite being small, has a massive appetite, fitting well with M'raye and Seyth (hopefully the trio won't cause famine in Southern!).

E-mail Vic if you'd like, I'm sure he'd love to hear from you!
