Name: N'prel
Age: 19

Rank: Blue Rider

Dragon Color: Blue
Dragon Name: Uriluth
Dragon Age: 3 Pet: Canine, Lucky

Brief Description of Persona:

  • At 5’9” N’prel is average in height with a build that is just starting to fill out with muscle born from the active life of a weyrling. As more turns pass with this kind of labor, he’ll fill out to be a solid young man -- strong and capable, but not overly built-up. Soft and expressive, his blue eyes are his best feature, hands down. They never cease to show the light of his good nature. Making his eyes a bit more striking is the dark brown hair that off-sets the light quality of his gaze. His face is nice, but a bit unassuming, though his smile adds a certain sweet charm.

  • N’prel is best known for his remarkable good nature. He is the straight man that accompanies the trouble-maker because a sane, reasonable mind is needed. Never has a fight broken out around him that he hasn’t broken up and settled between the injured parties. N’prel seems to have a unique insight into people, a sort of empathic feel for how others think that allows him to soothe and calm the most ruffled feathers. He genuinely likes people and wants to see them happy and content. Beyond that, he’s a very level-headed young man and understands the pointlessness of bickering and fighting. Because he doesn’t fall prey to senseless angst and frustration, N’prel is nearly always friendly and easy-going when you see him. To see him upset about something means that something is -really- wrong, because he never becomes upset without reason. N’prel seems to have everything going for him -- he’s well-liked, he’s happy with himself and confident, unbothered by his sexuality, and successful as a dragonrider.

    Brief History of Persona:
  • Young Naparel, the son of a small cotholder was thought to be the obvious choice to take over for his father when the time came. The boy never disagreed with that assumption, and so it came as a major shock when his younger cousin came running home to announce that he’d been Searched, only for Naparel to follow at a slower pace with the same news. That Tarler was eager to fly off to the Weyr for a chance at becoming a dragonrider was not surprising, given his brightly burning spirit. But for the level-headed, unassuming Naparel to want the same thing… it took some getting used to for his family.

But loving him as they did, they came to Dawning Light to watch him at each hatching until he Impressed at the age of sixteen, only having waited a short time. He had been expected to Impress a steady, responsible brown so his blue lifemate was yet another shock, but it only took one meeting with Urilath to see the similarities between the dragon and the young man, N’prel. His family accepted the dragon’s choice and their support made it easier for N’prel himself to get used to the idea of being a bluerider.

    Brief Description of Dragon:

  • As even-tempered and mild-mannered as his rider, Uriluth only differs in that he’s not as social as N’prel. Uriluth always seems supremely confident and unbothered by what would excite another dragon. A slate blue in color and with a large, sturdy build, Uriluth even looks mild.

    Brief Description of Pet:

  • Lucky is still a puppy at the moment but her big feet show that she will grow into a medium sized, to large canine. She has short fur that is pitch black and silky, not a streak of white anywhere to see. Her eyes are and tail are very expressive measures of her moods and her long, soft nose is always curious. In terms of personality Lucky is sweet, happy and even tempered. She does, however, thanks to events in her early life have a fear of water and whenever N'prel or Uriluth are in water she gets very distressed until they are safely out of it again. She won't go near water herself, preferring to stay out of it. She is also very afraid of being left behind, preferring to follow N'prel everywhere or stay with Uriluth if he's busy.

E-mail Stacey if you'd like, I'm sure she'd love to hear from you!
