Name: Q’inkor
Rank: Bluerider
Age: 27

Dragon Name: Slinkith
Dragon Color: Blue
Dragon Age: 12

Brief Description of Persona:

  • Q'inkor is a pretty boy. He has a strong masculine jaw and soft kissable cherub lips, that curls into the coyest smile at the oddest times. With his soft earth brown hair and hazel eyes, he can turn the head of either sex, which is fine with him. He spends a little too much time worrying about his looks and getting dressed. But when he leaves his room for the day he looks the model of handsome. Considering how pretty he is his taste in men tends to run to the less polished side. He has always found rugged men appealing. And when it comes to woman he seeks out the daintiest, most feminine of creatures. Not much Q'inkor does makes sense.
  • He has always enjoyed time spent with mind healers and when he was younger he considered apprenticing to one. Of course impressing a dragon changed that. But still his interest in the human mind means many come to him for advice. He had the gift of secret keeping and knows some of the weyr’s deepest darkest most embarrassing secrets. All of which he will take to the grave. He is trusted because he has proven over and over again that no matter what some one tells him in confidence he respects that it is their information, and that if they want to share it they will. It is not his place to tell other peoples stories. He is often the first to know of a pregnancy or an unhealthy relationship. Men and woman come to him and many have unexpectedly ended up crying in his arms. He is surprisingly sensitive and insightful for someone so concerned with his outward appearance.
  • Q'inkor often wishes that he had some one he could turn to. He finds himself wishing for a mate at the most bizarre times. But all in all he is happy with the trysts he has, and he often finds he does not sleep alone, unless he wants to.

    Brief Description of History:
  • The son of a flight between a blue rider and a green, Quinkor knew he was not like the other boys in the weyr who played at fighting thread from the back of a bronze. He played by himself and sometimes the girls. When he was about nine he met another weyr brat whom he felt an instant connection with. The two boys were almost inseparable.
  • It did not come as a big surprise when Quinkor's foster mother found him and his friend in the pantry, in what some might say was a compromising position. But since they were weyr brats it was normal and Quinkor felt relief that he did not need to hide his proclivities. Life went on like it always does in the weyrs and he was searched a few years later. At 15 he stood on the sands. The first blue to hatch called out to him. "I am Slinkith" and The boy became Q'inkor. A blue rider.

    Description of Dragon:

  • Slinkith is slender with a longer than normal tail. His hide is bright blue, like a sapphire with the sun shinning thru it. His belly has hints of bleu so dark it’s almost black, as do his wing sails. Slinkith is just as vain as his rider, and thinks that his riders appearance is a direct reflection on him and vise versa. He is always immaculate looking with a bright hide and clean talons. Vanity is one of the only traits he shares with his human. He lacks the sensitivity Q'inkor has, thought he can keep a secret when it is in his head. Something Q'inkor taught him since hatching. He is not cruel or vicious. He is polite and kind but as self-centered as a gold. He would happily spend his time sunning and chasing greens, stopping only to fight thread. His passion when it comes to abolishing thread during a fall is the other thing he has in common with his human. But other than that there is very little to Slinkith.
