Brief Description of Persona:
He is tall and thin with most of his height
coming from his legs and less from his torso. He has dark brown eyes and
black hair. His facial featues are average except for his ears which are
slightly bigger then average and stick out. He has a boyish grin of a smile
and a chuckling laugh in the tenor range. His complexion is dark from
working in the sun and prone to blushing without him knowing.
Jasin has a lot of self confidence when it
comes to his work but lacks in it when it comes to social settings and
interaction with people. He does not avoid them but he never really feels
comfortable around people outside his immediate family and can panic in
large crowds. He loves his daughter more then anything and treasures every
moment they spend together.
Brief Description of History:
Jasin's father owned and ran a tiny cotton farm
beholden to Sandstone river hold. When his younger sister was old enough to
start helping with the farm Jasin's father sent him to apprentice in
Farmcraft Hall keeping Jasin's older brother Brelin and his younger sister
Yaun to help out with the farm. Jasin was a marvelous student and every
master's dream for an apprentice. Although none of that got him farther a
head then any one else in his classes and he plowed slowly through the turns
to journeyman. It was as an apprentice he fell in love with Raeni, a fellow
apprentice but it was as a journeyman and very shortly after she walked the
tables as well that they were married. Less then a turn into the marriage
Raeni was pregnant and they had their first and only child a girl named
Monic. Four turns after Monic's birth Jasin's life started to change and not
for the better. His father had died and with his sister off at Harper Hall,
which he was unaware of, his brother needed him to come home and help with
the farm. Raeni agreed to move with him and they both gave up their lives at
the Hall to live on his family's farm. One turn later illness struck the
farm again this time taking his brother and his wife. Jasin wanted to wallow
in self pity, but he had a daughter and a farm to worry about. The sensible
thing would have been to sell the farm and return the Hall but he could not
do it the farm had been in their family since the founding of the Hold
Proper and he refused to be the one to end the tradition. So he stayed on
with his now 6 turn old daughter and hoped one day he would have time to
grieve.
