Pennae is fairly average height for a female standing at 5'5 and she has a slender build without much in the curve department. She also has delicate, long fingered hands - the type she is always amused to hear are fitted to her craft. But her looks make up for her lack of curves or height. Her hair is a dark glossy brown, that true colour of brunete with red highlights in it. It is long and straight, reaching her rump when loose. Her face is a delicate triangle with a small, pointed chin, high forehead, cleanly sculpted cheekbones and a small, pert nose. Her lips are a little on the thin side but her mouth is small and suited to her face. Her skin is very fair and clear of scars or pimples. Her eyes are a deep green and always have a dreamy cast to them. In terms of dress sense Pennae is not much bothered with this area. She looks after her hair and does enough walking to get exercise. But she tends to wear whatever is nearest to her to the despair of her twin sister and mother. While she's good at every artistry talent there is and at making instruments she's tone deaf. SHe has good rythem so she's good on the drums but she's ruefully aware and teased for her being totally tone deaf when it comes to music.
Pennae is a natural dreamer. From the dreamy look in her eyes to her bad habit of zoning out in the middle of a conversation or in company it shows. Imaginative, creative and thoughtful she has a pretty easy-going nature. Nothing much upsets Pennae except somebody that disturbs her when she's working or if somebody insults her. A good hearted, gentle type of person she doesn't like to hurt anybody so she's always fairly cautious about what she says to people. SHe's often taken as a bit slow because she tends to be hesitant, off in a dream world and go slowly, especially with strangers. She loves being a harper, she knows she's talented when it comes to her artistic talent and her talent in making instruments. The patient, easy going side of her nature means she's a good teacher as well. Being a fairly naiive, trusting person her friends and family tend to be rather protective of her. So far they've been successful in protecting her as she has no real idea about the nastier side of life.
Brief History of Persona:
Pennae is the youngest of three daughters, and the younger of twins born to a Journeywoman Harper and her Steward husband at Sandstone River Hold. Pennae and her sisters had a fairly close but normal childhood. Until Pennae was 8 and her father died of heart failure leaving her small family devested. Pennae's mother Aemmie never recovered from the loss of her beloved husband and while she indulged in a few discrete affairs has never remarried. But her latest lover Messrin is stil trying. Aside from the death of her father Pennae had a fairly charmed life being the dreamy child. She was the type of child who was happy to play on her own or take part in her sister's or friend's games. Her friends and sisters enjoyed her creative games and imagination. At the age of 13 Pennae's mother encouraged her to apprentice and following her mother's craft she apprenticed to the harper hall at Sandstone River Hold. Her mother was delighted that her youngest daughter was following her craft. Her eldest had Impressed a turn earlier and Pennae's sister apprenticed as a healer. Finding herself as a Harper, Pennae found that she had inherited her mother's talent and was very good at the artistic side of things. So this was the area she stuck to, especailly after her teachers learned she was tone deaf. A bit of a surprise since the rest of her family weren't like that. Slowly Pennae has progressed through her junior apprentice turns her talents growing as she ages. She impresses her teachers and fellow apprentices every day with her growing skill with just about every medium there is. As a side project she's also found she's good at making some instruments and her close friend Ilayn is teaching her to play the drums. Where this young senior apprentice harper will go nobody is sure.
