Prandra is lithe and elegant at five
feet and seven inches. She's thin to the point of being able to be
called delicate, with a long swan neck, fine features and slender
hands. Her light brown hair is streaked with gold and has just enough
body to make it luxuriant and curl at the ends naturally. Her wide blue
eyes are the color of the sky in summer but can turn dark as a sudden
storm that comes out of nowhere on a clear summer day. Prandra's eyes are
so big it gives her an air of innocence even at her age. Her lips are
slightly full but not to the point of sensual. Just full enough to pouty
without having to try too hard. Her skin is fair but with a slight
peachy tan from the times she does spend outdoors when not accompanied by
a parasol.
Prandra always makes good first
impressions. She is a master of deception. She learned quickly that
being pretty can open doors and get one their own way but only for so
long. After that the mind has to work. She knows how to work people to
do her bidding and once the innocent are shackled to her, she can become
an overbearing, domineering woman like her mother. She learned about
success and material wealth from her mother as well since her mother
raised her only child to know that she deserved only the best. Prandra
grew up believing that she deserved the best and nothing less and nothing
should stop her from getting it. All though Prandra is a spoiled child,
she also learned that a sharp mind and good organizational skills would
help her become the best Lady Holder on Pern since there was no other
position that held such power...other than a weyrwoman but Prandra
detested dragons and anything to do with them.
Brief History of Persona:
Prandra was born to Lady Chandra and Lord Parra, the
self styled holders of a small but successful cothold called Meadow Morn.
Chandra was a domineering woman who worked her way from the low life of
being born to drudges to that of a "Lady". She had convinced a young
Parra that she was from a small hold that had been destroyed. Her beauty
blinded Parra and he married her only to find that she was a scheming,
wealth hungry woman. The only two good things that came of the marriage,
as far as Parra was concerned, was that Chandra made his small cothold
successful...and his precious daughter. From the day of her birth,
Prandra was spoiled. She was a beautiful child who would grow up to be a
beautiful woman, but with a dark side to her heart. Every day Prandra
would be told by her mother that one day a handsome Lord Holder would see
Prandra and fall madly in love with her and she would become the most
powerful Lady Holders on Pern. After hearing this for twenty two years,
Prandra believed it. With very few single men in the area of Meadow
Morn, Prandra's mother decided it was time to seek a husband
elsewhere. When it was discovered that a major hold called Sandstone
River Hold, had a Lord that was not married, Chandra piled Prandra into a
boat and they sailed to Sandstone River Hold on the pretext of a vacation.
