Her hair is her best feature being a rich, shinny chestnut. Usually she wears it in a single braid but when she wears it loose it has a natural wave and reachers her hips. Her face is a soft heart shape with neat, even features and dark forest green eyes. Her clear, fair skin is also prone to freckles. Her freckles and the dimple in her chin make her look younger then she is.

When she dresses it is always tasteful and with a style all her own thanks to a sister who is a Journeywoman Weaver. SHe is never seen without a spare hankerchief, spare pins or her favourite necklace with has a perfect spiral shaped shell on it. (Her sister has an identical necklace)

However cross her, insult her or cause harm to somebody she loves and they will be faced with her fiery temper and cold stares. When this women gets angry she puts a wild feline to shame. She also tends to be impatient with daydreamers and people who are too idle. She doesn't see the point in wasting time as life to her is too short.

But aside from that she is extremly dedicated to her job and has the calm patience and practical good sense that make a good healer. Especailly one with a midwife background. Again when it comes to her job she is very business like and professional but with the right amount of personal warmth to make anybody coming to her feel comfortable and confident in her skill as a healer.

Brief History of Persona:

Vika was close to her mother's youngest sister Baylen who was a Journeywoman healer/midwife. It was this closness and the fact that Vika followed her around alot, lending her smaller hands and curiosity to the tasks Baylen performed that gave her her purpose. To Vika, Baylen was more of a mother figure and so she very much inherited the down to earth, business like attitude that Baylen fostered both in life and with her job. It was Baylen that convinced Vika's parents into letting her apprentice to the Healer Hall at Fort Hold and so she did snd at 13 turns get accepted as an Apprentice. Because she had already gained Junior Apprentice level skills and knowledge thanks to the time spent around Baylen and had a natural talent and curiosity in healing she progressed through her apprentice training rapidly and was one of the youngest in her class to walk the tables to Journeywoman.

Once she'd gained the rank of Junior Journeyman she spent the next few turns experimenting with different aspects of healing, trying to find one to stick with. She liked all the healing disciplines she tried but was especailly interested in midwifery so it was here she decided to stay. Once she'd decided to stick to midwifery she was posted to Fort Weyr as a Senior Journeywoman healer/midwife. It was here that she had a brief relationship with A'fen, a brown rider which resulted in the birth of her daughter, Avika. Although she loved living at the Weyr, spending time with her young daughter and helping women deliver their babies she found that she needed a new challenge. Taking her daughter she took on a position at the Healer Hall at Veridian Orchards for a Senior Journeywoman Healer. Liking the fact she was back to a more generalised role in healing she settled in quite happily. Here she also meet Jaysa, a Journeyman Vinter who she is currently in a relationship with and is the father of her son, Jyksan.

It was here she was content to raise her children and devote her time to healing people and to Jaysa. But when the current Master Healer took over the position at the main Healer's Hall at Fort Hold, with the encouragement of her peers and partner she applied not just for Master status but also as Master Healer in her hall. SHe was accepted in to both places to the satisfation of her fellow healers and surpisingly herself. It is here in her role as Master Healer that she has found her niche in life. While she isn't too happy with the paper work that comes with the job she loves the fact she is represnting skills, a job and people she loves and admires. She has also found she loves teaching students and those that are rising in the world of Healers. But just as you'll find her in her office one day, you;ll find her making numbweed, or doing jobs a very Junior Apprentice is usually doing. To her they are just extra parts of something she loves doing and being involved in. She also found herself being adopted by a canine she calls Cai.

She has also just found out she is pregnant with her third child and her world is complete. She is also very pleased that her daughter is following her footsteps as a healer and has apprenticed to her Hall.

Brief History of Persona:
Cai is a quiet, shy creature and is a little wary of strangers until she gets to know them - this does make her a good guard dog as her bark sounds scarier then she is. But she is very loving and would do anything for Vika or her children.
